How the survey was conducted:
New York Construction’s Top Contractor survey aims to identify the general contractors
and construction managers that are most active in the New York, New Jersey,
and Connecticut markets. We mailed survey forms to subscribers, members of contracting
associations, and companies that participated in our survey in prior years.
We made follow-up calls to the region’s largest companies to encourage their participation.
We then compiled all information reported by responding companies on the
official survey forms and tabulated that data. From those results, we are highlighting
the companies in the region with the most revenue in each category of comparison.
