How the survey was conducted:

New York Construction’s Top Design Consultants survey aims to identify the architectural, engineering, and other design firms that are most active in the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut markets. We mailed survey forms to subscribers, members of contracting associations, and companies across the industry. We made follow-up calls to encourage greater participation. We then compiled all information reported by the responding companies on the official survey form, which required a signature to verify data, and tabulated the data. From those results, we are highlighting the companies in the region with the most revenue in each category of comparison. The data in each category reflects the revenue for the design firm’s last completed fiscal year. The charts reflecting data by specialty area reflect combined New York-New Jersey-Connecticut revenue.
