Bovis’ Marchetto Joins Tishman

Former Bovis CEO switches teams.

NEW HIRES

Peter A. Marchetto has joined Tishman Construction Corp. as president of construction operations. He previously served as CEO of Bovis Lend Lease. He was with the firm for 25 years.

Bahar Tavakolian and Catherine Harding have been hired as sales agents by Stribling & Associates, a New York based real estate brokerage firm.

Alan Resnik has joined Einhorn Yaffee Prescott, an architecture and design firm as a principal and student housing expert in the Boston office.

Bill Connors has been hired as the new director of sanitary and fi re protection engineering by Lilker Associates Consulting Engineers of New York.

Jeffrey Stern S. Stern has joined The Morganti Group, Inc. as vice president of operations in charge of growing and overseeing the New York office construction operations.

Michael Levine, P.E. has joined New York City-based Dagher Engineering as executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Peter Jahchan has joined Greyhawk, an international construction-consulting firm has as executive consultant to work out of their headquarters in Woodbury, New York. Anthony Platt has joined Boston-based CBI Consulting, Inc., an architectural/engineering firm as a senior project manager.

John Patey has joined New York City based Mancini Duffy as a Senior Associate and will lead the firm’s healthcare practice.

PROMOTIONS

Sergio Baluyut has been promoted to project manager at The Spector Group, an architecture and design firm based in New York.

Michael Quigley has been promoted to principal of WB Engineers Consultants.

Ronald B. Lanner has been promoted to vice president of H2M, an architectural and engineering firm.

Manhattan-based architecture and design firm, Stonehill & Taylor Architects have expanded their ownership, giving three of their architects, Neill Parker, Jr., Michael Suomi, and Christina Zimmer the title of principal.

HONORS AND APPOINTMENTS

Bruce Lilker, president of Lilker Associates Consulting Engineers of New York has been honored by The Architects Designers and Engineers Division of the State of Israel Bonds and received the Builder of Israel Award for his leadership and support.

Robert Klein, former principal at Swanke Hayden Connell Architects of New York has been appointed as the managing director of strategic services of space planning and interior design firm MKDA of New York.

Dominick M. Servedio, chairman and chief executive officer of New York based STV Group, Inc. has been elected chairman of the New York Building Foundation.

Adrienne Albert of The Marketing Directors, Inc., a New York City based firm specializing in the marketing and sales/rental of new, high-end residential real estate developments has become the first woman to be inducted into the National Association of Home Builders Hall of Fame as a Legend of Residential Marketing.

Rufus Van Thompson of Skanska USA Building Inc. has won the Community Service Award for his work with Skanska’s “Construction Management Building Blocks” program.
