Pike Co. Reshuffles Northeast Leadership

The Rochester, N.Y., firm promotes three top executives. Also, Skanska USA hires a new director of business development.

NEW HIRES

Ronald Kolber has been named director of business development for Skanska USA Building, a construction, pre-construction consulting, general contracting, and design-build services company based in Parsippany, N.J.

James Angley has been named CEO of Douglaston Development, a New York-based real estate developer. Angley previously served as senior vice president at the New York State Housing Finance Agency and the State of New York Mortgage Agency.

Tiffanee O'Brien has been hired by W&M Construction, a general contractor and construction manager based in Stamford, Conn., as project manager.

Michael Levine has been named director of institutional projects at Lilker Associates, an M-E-P and technology engineering firm based in New York.

Frank Panasci and Linda McNulty have been hired as associates at Lizardos Engineering Associates, a mechanical and electrical consulting engineer firm in Mineola, N.Y.

Leslie Peoples and Raymond Tobia have been named senior associates at Vollmer Associates, an engineering, architecture, planning, landscape architecture, and survey services firm based in New York.

W. Dennis Keck has joined Edwards and Kelcey, an engineering, design, planning, and construction management firm based in Morristown, N.J., as vice president and director of highway planning.

Jeff Oustalet has been named director of information technology for Swig Equities, a real estate development and investment management firm based in New York.

Peter DiMaggio has been named a principal and Howard Levine hired as director of the applied science division at Weidlinger Associates, a New York consulting engineer firm.

David McNeill has been appointed director of origination at Hypo Real Estate Capital, the New York-based subsidiary of Hypo Real Estate Bank International, a commercial real estate lender based in Germany.

Richard Cohan and Adam Zaiber have both been hired as senior managing director at GVA Williams, a commercial real estate firm based in New York.

Michael Perna has joined ConEdison Solutions, a supplier of energy management services based in White Plains, N.Y., as vice president of business development.

Judy Pullar has been appointed associate vice president in the New York office of Cannon Design, an engineering and planning firm based in Grand Island, N.Y.

Joshua Levering has been appointed senior vice president of NAI James E. Hanson, a brokerage and property management firm based in Hackensack, N.J.

John DeBouter has been hired as director of the training academy for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 164 based in Paramus, N.J.

PROMOTIONS

Paul Moyer has been promoted to executive vice president of the Pike Co., a construction management and general contracting firm based in Rochester, N.Y. The firm also promoted Gilbert DiMaio to vice president of Eastern region general construction and William McMordie as vice president of eastern region construction management.

Charles Hocking and Paul Saurer have been promoted to vice president at Hazen and Sawyer, an environmental engineering firm based in New York. In addition, Russell Jones, Rick Landers, Melanie Mann, and Matthew Valade have been promoted to senior associate and Osama Ahmed, Daniel Akavan, Kristen Barrett, David Fong, James Gellner, Ethan Heijn, Jennifer McMahon, Sanjay Puranik, Grantley Pyke, Richard Saltrick, Benjamin Thompson, and Calvin Wu have been promoted to associate.

John Letini has been promoted to assistant director of New York-New Jersey utilities division operations at TBE, an international consulting, design, and engineering firm based in Clearwater, Fla.

Oscar Suros has been promoted to director of transportation at T&M Associates, an engineering and planning firm based in Middletown, N.J.

HONORS AND APPOINTMENTS

Keith Misciagna, who is a business representative with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 164 based in Paramus, N.J., has been appointed as a member of the Bergen County Planning Board. In addition, Richard Dressel, business manager of the IBEW local, has been nominated by New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine to serve on the board of commissioners of the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority.

Mysore Nagaraja, president of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority's Capital Construction Co. division, has received the American ORT Chapter Supporter of the Year Award for the engineering and construction industry for 2006.

Joseph Aliotta, a managing principal at Swanke Hayden Connell Architects of New York, has received an award for his "outstanding contributions" to the ACE Mentor Program of Greater New York.

Charles Copeland, senior vice president and principal at Goldman Copeland Associates, a New York-based consulting engineering firm, has been named the International Energy Engineer of the Year for 2006 for his significant contributions to his field by the Association of Energy Engineers.

COMPANY NEWS

Milo Kleinberg Design Associates, a corporate space planning and interior design firm, has opened a new Stamford, Conn., office that will service building owners and corporate tenants in Fairfield County and in New York's Westchester County. Julia Lindh has been hired as executive managing director of the office.

Design Professionals, a multidisciplinary consulting firm based in South Windsor, Conn., has relocated its offices to Sullivan Avenue Business Center, a 100,000 sq. ft. building.
