Skanska USA Civil Inc. promoted four executives: William McGuinness III to president and CEO of Yeager Skanska Inc., Joseph LoCurto to president of Slattery Skanska Inc., Richard Cavallaro to chief operating officer of Slattery Skanska Inc. and Arnold Kirsch, PE to president of Gottlieb Skanska Inc.


Peter Marchetto was promoted to the newly created position of chief operating officer of Bovis Lend Lease Americas.


Patricia Lancaster, FAIA, commissioner of the New York City Department of Buildings, and Mark Strauss, AIA AICP, principal of Fox & Fowle Architects, have been elected to the American Institute of Architects College of Fellows.


Richard Tomasetti, co-chairman of the Thornton-Tomasetti Group, was elected to the National Academy of Engineering.

Einhorn Yaffee Prescott, Architecture & Engineering, P.C. named Ralph Gifford as chief operations officer and hired Joseph Galea, AIA as managing principal.


James Jarosik joined Muss Development Company as senior vice president in charge of developing Flushing Town Center.


STV hired Nasri Munfah, PE as vice president and national director of tunneling and underground engineering and promoted Donald Harris and David Augustine, AIA, to vice president.


Frank Mottolese was named vice president and chief financial officer of New England Mechanical Services, Inc.


Salvatore Mancini, president and CEO of Skanska USA Civil, was honored by the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind, Inc.


Dewberry hired Edward Di Mond, PE as senior associate and manager of its Mount Laurel, N.J. office and promoted Ileana Ivanciu, PG to vice president and Anthony Pecci, PE to senior associate.


H2M Group hired Keith Gurnick, AIA as senior architect/studio manager, Robert Ikes III, RA as project architect and James Edgette as a member of the firm's water and wastewater group. Peter DiMaggio was promoted to associate principal of Weidlinger Associates.
