Mayor Cuts Ribbon on Harlem Housing

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg celebrated the completion of the 249-unit mixed-income development, Kalahari condominiums at 40 West 116th Street in Central Harlem, which was designed using traditional African art and culture as well as built to LEED Silver Certification standards. Mayor Cuts Ribbon on Harlem Housing

Abraham Hidary, president, and Eddie Hidary, chief operating officer, both of Hidrock Realty in New York, were guest speakers at the recent Commercial Real Estate Due Diligence Conference, held at the Harmonie Club in Manhattan. The speakers educated the crowd on tenant improvements, tenant relations, lobby design and construction, elevator analysis and renovation, electric engineering, roofs, water tanks, common corridors, brick facade and the demolition of old spaces and uses. Mayor Cuts Ribbon on Harlem Housing

The Edge, located at Kent Avenue between North 5th and 7th Streets on the Williamsburg waterfront in Brooklyn, celebrated its official launch of sales. Construction is currently in Phase One, and the 575 luxury condominium residences are slated for occupancy in late summer 2009. Mayor Cuts Ribbon on Harlem Housing

The Hudson Valley Mechanical Contractors Association of Millwood New Jersey recently presented a $27,000 check to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, which will be used for research, diagnosis and treatment of Traumatic Brain Injury suffered by our military personnel and veterans. The organization was formerly known as the Plumbing & Mechanical Contractors Association of the Hudson Valley.
