Phipps Houses, the largest nonprofit provider of affordable housing in New York City, honored two professionals whose work has contributed significantly to building strong communities at its Community Builder Awards Gala in New York. Adam Weinstein, president and CEO of Phipps Houses, presented awards to Bryce Blair, chairman and CEO of AvalonBay Communities, a real estate investment trust headquartered in Alexandria, Va., and Richard Richman, chairman and founder of the Richman Group, a national conglomerate of real estate companies based in Greenwich, Conn.
