New Retail Center in Bronx Breaks Ground

Mayor Bloomberg joins project leaders and Bronx officials to launch $500 million project.

The new $500 million Gateway Center at Bronx Terminal Market retail complex had local dignitaries help to kick off construction for the Related Cos. project set to open in 2009. The Association of Real Estate Women recently gave Michele Medaglia, president of ACC Construction of New York, its Founder's Award, an annual honor established in 1994 to recognize an individual's contributions toward helping other women in the real estate industry and the organization. Medaglia is a past AREW president.
