New York Construction Best
of 2003 Awards
New York Construction magazine honored the top projects from
New York, New Jersey and Connecticut at a December Best of
2003 awards event.

More than 700 builders, architects, engineers and labor representatives
joined New York Construction as it saluted the New York, New
Jersey and Connecticut construction industry during the Best
of 2003 Awards Breakfast.
28 projects in 17 categories received awards, including adaptive
re-use, bridge, environmental, high-rise residential, highway,
hospitality, industrial, institutional, interior fit-out,
mixed use, office, rehabilitation, renovation, restoration,
retail, site/landscaping and transit. In some categories both
awards of merit and project of the year awards were granted.
In others, only merit awards or project of the year honors
were given.
Charles
Gargano, vice chairman, The Port Authority of New York
& New Jersey, accepts the award for the 2003 Owner
of the Year. |
Frank
Sciame accepts a check from New York Construction Publisher
Heather Hatfield on behalf of the City College of New
York. Proceeds from the event benefitted engineering and
architecture students at the college. |
