Fletcher Thompson, an architectural, engineering, and
interior design firm based in Shelton, Conn., recently acquired
Rothe-Johnson-Fantacone, a New Jersey-based architecture firm.
It also announced plans to expand the firm's operations to
the Mid-Atlantic region, develop healthcare and education
practices, integrate its tristate operations, and offer more
client-focused services. In addition, the firm has named two
new principals: Patricia Myler, who will be vice president
in charge of its Hartford, Conn., office, and Peter Ottavio,
who will head the firm's engineering services.
Bonland Industries, an HVAC contractor based in Wayne, N.J.,
has expanded into the New York market with the acquisition
of a 40,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing facility in the Bronx.
Leslie E. Robertson Associates, a consulting engineering
firm based in New York, has opened an office in Stamford,
Conn.
Langan Engineering, an engineering and environmental
services firm based in Elmwood Park, N.J., donated $40,000
worth of landscaping design and consulting services for the
newly opened Frank R. Lautenberg Children's Playground in
Paterson, N.J., which will serve the city's 25,000 children.
The Greater Jamaica Development Corp., a nonprofit
local development organization in the Jamaica section of Queens,
recently honored Dermot Co., a real estate developer
based in New York, for its efforts on the redevelopment of
the Queens Family Courthouse.
