Post Road Iron Works of Greenwich,
Conn., recently won a Bronze Award for outstanding art and
sculpture craftsmanship in a National Ornamental & Miscellaneous
Metals Association competition.
Graciano Corp., a Pittsburgh-based
architectural masonry restoration firm, received a Lucy G.
Moses Award from the New York Landmarks Conservancy for its
restoration work on the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
Forest Electric, a New York-based
electrical contractor, and Flack +
Kurtz, a New York-based mechanical and electrical engineer,
have won the Vista Award for the best healthcare engineering
project in 2004 from the American Society of Healthcare Engineering
for their work on the new central utility plant at the Long
Island Jewish Hospital in New Hyde Park, N.Y.
Opus Corp., a Minneapolis-based
real estate developer, has sued New York-based Clarett Group
for trademark infringement over Clarett's use of the name
Opus Condominiums for a recently completed 20-story Manhattan
residential building.
Langan Engineering and Environmental
Services of Elmwood Park, N.J., won the American Council
of Engineering Companies of New Jersey's Grand Award for its
consulting efforts on various New Jersey School Construction
Corp. projects.
