New England Mechanical Services
of Vernon, Conn., has received three awards from the Connecticut
chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors. It won the
Platinum Level STEP Award for its National ABC's Safety Training
and Evaluation Process. The company also won the Specialty
Contractor of the Year Award for 2004 and an Excellence in
Construction Award for its mechanical construction work at
a new Advo, Inc., facility in Windsor, Conn.
DaSilva Black Calcagni Chesser Architects,
a New York-based architectural firm, has changed its name
to daSilva Architects.
TVGA Consultants, an engineering,
surveying, and environmental services firm based in Elma,
N.Y., has opened a new office in Syracuse, N.Y. Eric Logan
has accepted a project manager position in the new office.
Edwards and Kelcey, an engineering,
design, and construction management company based in Morristown,
N.J., has acquired Epsilon Engineering of Houston and College
Station, Texas. Epsilon specializes in highway and roadway
engineering for clients such as the Texas Department of Transportation
and municipal agencies in the state.
