Jones Lang LaSalle of Chicago
has acquired project management specialist Quartararo &
Associates Inc., which had a presence throughout the tri-state
region. Jones Lang, a global real estate services and money
management company, already had a New York presence, providing
leasing and management services for 48 million sq. ft. of
office buildings in the area, according to a company statement.
In the acquisition, Quartararo's co-founders
Ray Quartararo and Dennis Squilla
have joined Jones Lang's project and development services
group as managing directors, along with 45 of their staffers.
Quartararo also is serving as manager of Jones Lang's project
and development services business in the Northeast region,
replacing John Krush, who has
shifted to focus more closely on development services initiatives.
The company no longer uses the Quartararo name.
Evergreen Mechanical Corporation,
a new plumbing and mechanical firm, has opened its doors in
the Bronx, with Robert Greenberg
as president.
Greyhawk North America, LLC,
a construction management and consulting firm with offices
in Connecticut and New Jersey, has made the Zweig-White "Hot
Firm" listing of the nation's fastest-growing architecture,
engineering, and environmental consulting firms for the fourth
year in a row.
