Bovis Lend Lease launched
its Incident & Injury Free (IIF) program designed to improve
safety within the organization. Among aspects of the program
are mandatory planning activities designed to set the stage
for safe projects and minimum field conditions which must
be met on all projects. Currently over 2,000 upper management
employees worldwide have attended two-day IIF leadership commitment
workshops and 6,000 workers have attended four-hour IIF orientation
programs.
EMCOR Group, Inc. has completed
its previously announced acquisition of Siemens' U.S. facility
management services business as part of a strategic alliance
between the two companies.
The Time Warner Center project achieved the "Award of
Special Recognition" for excellence in concrete at the
42nd Annual Concrete Industry Board of New York event. Bovis
Lend Lease provided construction management services
on the project. Other local Bovis projects honored with awards
of merit were the Park Laurel and 220 Riverside Boulevard
at Trump Place.
