The Turner Corporation reported results for the six-month
period that ended June 30. The value of new contracts secured
for the period was $3.8 billion compared to $4.2 billion for
the comparable period in 2002. New contracts won during the
first half of 2003 included Northwestern University McGaw
Pavilion in Chicago, Ill., University of Cincinnati Recreation
Center in Cinncinati, Ohio, Lexington Medical Center in West
Columbia, S.C. and an addition for the Tennessee Aquarium
in Chattanooga, Tenn.
The American Association of Airport Executives presented
its Corporate Cup of Excellence to Parsons
Brinckerhoff. The award was given in recognition of
the long-term support the firm has shown to the association,
its members and the airport industry.
Schoor DePalma was selected
for the third consecutive year as one of New Jersey's Finest
companies. The New Jersey's Finest award program, conducted
by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, is given annually to 25 privately
held companies in New Jersey that exhibit substantial revenue
growth and superior employee benefits.
