NEW HIRES

Wendy Rowden has joined the Jonathan Rose Companies, LLC, a green real estate development, planning, consulting and investing firm as Managing Director of Investment Practice.

Stan Pearson has joined Triton Construction based in Garden City, New York as Manager of Healthcare.

Joseph F. Beckmeyer Jr. has been hired by Medina Consultants as Director of Water/Wastewater Engineering.

Todd W. Davies joins Medina Consultants as a new Senior Project Manager in their Hamilton, New Jersey office.

Clare M. Cerniglia has been hired by Penoni Associates, a consulting engineering firm headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a Senior Electrical Engineer in its Haddon Heights Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing Division.

Hemsley Spear, LLC has hired Gregg B. Slotnick, Joseph Armano, Vladimir Spector, Jayme Tomita, and Ilya Tsitron as commercial real estate brokers.

Trisha L. Smith and Louis A. Evans have joined Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP of New York City as counsel and co-chairs of the newly established Environmental and Climate Change Practice Group.

PROMOTIONS

Bob Feury, Jr. has been promoted to CEO of Allied Building Products Corp., a distributor of residential and commercial roofing, siding, waterproofing and interior products based in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

HONORS AND APPOINTMENTS

James Lang LaSalle, a financial and professional services firm specializing in real estate has been honored with a Pinnacle Award by the Building Owners and Managers Association of New York for its Frank Gehry-designed IAC Building located at 555 West 18th Street in New York City. The organization selected the property to receive its 2008-2009 New Construction award.

31 of Skanska USA Building Inc.’s New Jersey employees became LEED APs including Ashraf Abdulbaqi, Kevin Bowen, Justin Chan, Paul Cocuzza, Tom Driscoll, Frank Falciani, Aaron Gillespie, Amanda Gillespie, Mike Gross, Bradley Harris, Peter Hoer, Thomas Hyland, Michael Kalafut, Andy Keglovitz, Ed Kosinski, Joe Krizan, Jim Levey, Mike Marullo, Shane Messner, Mark Minchak, Angela Moulton, Stacy Nevins, Brent Nickles, Paul Nylund, Steve Potaki, William Rubio, Sean Savio, Robert Stone, Angelo Tsai, Maikell Vilanova and Al Weiss.

Judith A. Calogero, former New York State Commissioner of the Division of Housing and Community Renewal was appointed CEO of the New York Housing Conference by the NYHC Board of Directors.

Lloyd J. Landow of Landow & Landow Architects has been honored at Cabrini of Westchester’s 11th Annual “Sharing in Mission” Celebration Dinner for the firms contribution to the Major Modernization project at the St. Cabrini Nursing Home and other projects for Cabrini Eldercare Organization.
