The project includes footings and foundations as well as structural steel work for two five-story buildings totaling approximately 40,000 sq ft that will accommodate research laboratories with related core facilities and offices. The facility will also incorporate green design concepts to achieve LEED certification from the United States Green Building Council.
Currently, Skanska is on-site and has completed the pre-construction phase along with extensive earthwork on the approximate 130,000-sq-ft site.
