To that end, Buffalo University is providing a lot of work with its 2020 master plan that includes a new downtown campus for its medical school. In addition to higher education projects, health care and historic preservation work is booming, with projects that include the $200-million Erie County Medical Center and the $40-million H.H. Richardson Complex, which will turn part of the former psychiatric center into a boutique hotel.
