Gary Sorge Senior Principal
Stantec

The city has an action plan to promote neighborhood stability and affordable housing opportunities, Sorge says. Actions taken include the demolition of derelict buildings; assessment and remediation of brownfields; and creation of programs to encourage home ownership. "The city has had a number of projects along the I-95 corridor to create affordable housing in new urban neighborhoods," he says. Stantec provided site engineering for the redevelopment of the city's Quinnipiac Terrace, a formerly distressed public housing development on the Quinnipiac River.
