James Breuer President “Meds and eds” are the construction story in Syracuse, Breuer says. “Most of the projects in the area are due to some form of public funding. There is very little private investment,” he says. The company has teamed up with The Pike Co., Rochester, N.Y., to expand the emergency services and data center at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center of Syracuse. Completion of the $60-million project is set for year’s end. One of the challenges of working in the area is its permitting process, which involves many authorities and can result in delays, he adds. |
