50th Anniversary
The Future of Architecture

In some ways, it will change a great deal and in others hardly at all.

Some Architects will continue to dream of being form givers and will sustain themselves on the physic rewards the profession offers. Others will complain of their becoming a commodity as they try to enhance their competitive position with automation and extensive databases to minimize file documentation effort while enhancing the proportion of their inspirational activities.

Those that prosper will undertake increasing risk and offer a continuum of services that return the profession to a key role in the development, design and construction process.

Good luck to them all.
