A Source of Pride

Who could have predicted Sept. 11, 2001? Who could have predicted the massive destruction of office space or the rush to the suburbs for replacement? Who could have predicted corporations changing from single buildings to geographically-spread units to avoid catastrophic interruption of business? Who could have predicted that the insurance and bond markets would change so dramatically?

The list of unanticipated consequences could continue. I cannot answer what the New York construction industry might look like in 10, 20 or 50 years. However, confirming its inherent strengths and qualities exhibited by its performance since Sept. 11, I know this industry will be a continued source of pride for us all.
