CDTA plans to build a bus storage and maintenance facility located in Saratoga Springs. The 72,700-sq-ft building will serve as CDTA's satellite bus garage and include administrative offices, dispatch and driver areas, maintenance bays and a large indoor bus storage area for a 50-bus fleet. Millennium Pipeline plans to install two 6,130-horsepower, natural-gas-turbine-driven centrifugal compressors to increase line pressure and deliverability of natural gas at the Minisink Compressor Station in Minisink. The New York Aquarium will begin construction in July on a 30,000-sq-ft redesign of its buildings and exhibits, including the sea lion and aviary exhibits. Cornell University's Contracts & Capital Projects Administration is starting the first phase of renovation on its 128,355-sq-ft Warren Hall in Ithaca. The building was originally constructed in 1933 and was connected to the Mann Library in the early 1950s. The project includes complete renovations of the interior, including partitions, finishes, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm data, telecommunications, elevator and audio visual systems. State of Connecticut DPW is seeking bidders to build an 11,800-sq-ft fine arts instructional center at Eastern Connecticut State University. The center will include space for public gatherings, display of student and traveling art programs as well as three state-of-the-art performance spaces, a 300-seat concert hall, a 600-seat auditorium, a 175-seat studio theater and multiple technical production and rehearsal spaces. Princeton University plans to build a 135,000-sq-ft center for creative and performing arts. The project includes a black box theater, a large dance studio, an orchestral rehearsal studio and several smaller acting studios as well as music practice rooms and classrooms. A small "kiss-and-ride" lot with short-term parking is also being planned. The project is valued at $300 million.
